Precision technology has driven the farming revolution in recent years.
Monitoring crops from the sky using agricultural drones looks set to drive the next, as agronomists, agricultural engineers and farmers turn to UAVs (or UAS) to gain more efficient crop insights and to more accurately plan and manage their operations.
Our drone technology adds value throughout the growing season, from monitoring plant emergence right through to pre-harvest yield prediction and drainage planning for the next season.
There are multiple uses for agricultural drones, including:
Equipped with a 2.8 meter long tube with four nozzles, the new water-saving system could save on pesticide or fertilizer and improve the efficiency of spraying at the same time.
The UAS features a grid pesticide or fertilizer container which can prevent the liquids from sloshing in flight.
The tank capacity is 22.5L, so it does not need to be frequently refilled.
The propeller vortex can help the UAS by evenly spraying the pesticide on the front and back of the plant leaves.
